Okay, in the first paragraph:   
Double-check your spelling (paint).   
“And, Myr thought, I am going to make it count, as he sighted down the narrow tube of oak, before carefully inserting a dart until he heard the faint click that meant it couldn’t be sucked back into the hunter’s mouth.”

The poem captures a good mood, and the length strengthens it, which I don't see often. I enjoy the captivating title. I'm going to go through the poem stanza by stanza.   
Twilight and a minute past the day,  The stars shining in a multi-colored  High  Leaving one wide-eyed and  Blind  I found you under your baggage you drowned in,  As I wouldn't have it any other way,  Shape and form transforming me,  As I wonder why the mountains fell,  And I didn't even notice my star shining  In your eyes that stole away a part of me,  H Highlighted Review 3

First off: Lily is spelled with a total of two l's.   
This poem immediately drew me in because of its 'modest' size and shape (it could easily be cradled in the palm of my hand), and the title, which promised something pritty.  And I wasn't disappointed; the poem uses a lot of beautiful and pleasant words, such as 'cushioned', 'angelic', 'obedience' and so forth. Yet it's balanced out with words like 'fury', 'filthy', 'anarchist'.

I think the theme of whether humans are art or not is interesting. To me it deals with whether art is just an exhibit of oneself, or if it needs to be more twisted in order to become art. Also I think the theme of art being a little 'bubble' for the artist is brought up. The idea in itself is good enough. But the way it's told bores me. The language is very chatty and seems to show all her thoughts. You try to create a scary mood, but fail because you really accentuate everything. Repetitions, filler words like 'boy', unnecessary questions like 'What had happened to the statues?' Real Highlighted Review by hexocain

To aid in The Comment Revolution by providing a review service based on Requests.

To Join

Send a note with the subject title Join and tell us which area of art you want to critique for entry. Once received, it will be asked of you to review a piece in that specific area. This piece will be a piece by a current member of ~ReviewsbyRequest. It will be sent to you in note form through a link. After you have completed the review you must send us a link in note form so that we may review it. When you are accepted you will be given notification. After you are accepted you are free to comment upon any projects on the list, not only the ones in the area you used for entry.


To Make a Request

Send a note with the subject title Request that includes a link to the specific piece and any questions you may want answered.

You know what I'm getting tired of? People coming to the group and submitting the worst piece they have. What is that? This one guy submitted a scan of the doodles he wrote on his spiral bound notebook. in the description he wrote that it was just a thoughtless doodle. Then he submits it to us and expects us to put thought into his doodle.

I'm sorry - it makes me mad. For once, I'd like to put an effort towards a piece in which an effort was invested in. I find it disrespectful.

How would you feel if someone came up to you with a wad of used toilet paper and asked you to criticize it? What would you say? Well if you're like me you'd tell that person to go to hell after serving a swift one to his nose.

I'm going to keep citicizing and I'm going to get a whole lot meaner to those who submit anything on blue ruled paper.
