The poem captures a good mood, and the length strengthens it, which I don't see often. I enjoy the captivating title. I'm going to go through the poem stanza by stanza.

First off: Lily is spelled with a total of two l's.   
This poem immediately drew me in because of its 'modest' size and shape (it could easily be cradled in the palm of my hand), and the title, which promised something pritty.  And I wasn't disappointed; the poem uses a lot of beautiful and pleasant words, such as 'cushioned', 'angelic', 'obedience' and so forth. Yet it's balanced out with words like 'fury', 'filthy', 'anarchist'.   
What I see is a teacher – someone with a habit of provoking his/her student so as to make the person think and act, to giv Highlighted Review2 - Hexocain

I think the theme of whether humans are art or not is interesting. To me it deals with whether art is just an exhibit of oneself, or if it needs to be more twisted in order to become art. Also I think the theme of art being a little 'bubble' for the artist is brought up. The idea in itself is good enough. But the way it's told bores me. The language is very chatty and seems to show all her thoughts. You try to create a scary mood, but fail because you really accentuate everything. Repetitions, filler words like 'boy', unnecessary questions like 'What had happened to the statues?' Real Highlighted Review by hexocain

To aid in The Comment Revolution by providing a review service based on Requests.

To Join

This piece will be a piece by a current member of ~ReviewsbyRequest. It will be sent to you in note form through a link. After you have completed the review you must send us a link in note form so that we may review it. When you are accepted you will be given notification. After you are accepted you are free to comment upon any projects on the list, not only the ones in the area you used for entry.

You know what I'm getting tired of? People coming to the group and submitting the worst piece they have. What is that? This one guy submitted a scan of the doodles he wrote on his spiral bound notebook. in the description he wrote that it was just a thoughtless doodle. Then he submits it to us and expects us to put thought into his doodle.

I'm sorry - it makes me mad. For once, I'd like to put an effort towards a piece in which an effort was invested in. I find it disrespectful.

How would you feel if someone came up to you with a wad of used toilet paper and asked you to criticize it? What would you say? Well if you're like me you'd tell that person to go to hell after serving a swift one to his nose.

I'm going to keep citicizing and I'm going to get a whole lot meaner to those who submit anything on blue ruled paper.

Well, yeah...but you don't know if we can back our advice with anything. I've been writing for 4 years and have had about 7 poems published, for instance... But what we're doing is critiquing, and even the most published writer in the world might be terrible at that - like negullah was pointing out.

could you Critique my story? so far its only a few chapters long (the rewrite) and i just wanted to see what someones opinion on it is. Anyways, uhm Myrmarch's Tail is the story, and any critisiscm is nice. I really don't get much. Everyones always "Oh, wow Great story! I love it!" and i never get any real critques for it so... yeah. ok, later
